Discussion Group Guidelines
FORUM GUIDELINES: The board is a
wonderful place to build community, share knowledge, meet new friends, exchange
ideas and thoughts on gear, technique, strategies and experiences. This Forum
is not provided as a kind of free-speech paradise. It is a positive place for
positive people who enjoy discussing trees and tree care. With this in mind we
would like to ask all of you to keep these thoughts in mind when posting new
threads or replying to existing threads:
-
Try not to write anything to another person that you would not say to that
person's face.
-
Remember the "golden rule" we all learned as kids: do unto others as you would
wish them to do unto you.
-
It would be nice if everyone on the board would try to be supportive of our
effort to provide entertaining and informative content as well as build
viewership. If you have constructive criticism for us or the site we would
appreciate your emailing ISA instead of posting it here on the Forum.
-
We have all seen or heard of good Forums being destroyed by the irresponsible
behavior of a tiny few. Out and out flames and petty grudge matches have no
place here. If you are into that stuff, this is not the Forum for you. The web
editor reserves the right at their sole discretion to delete those kinds of
posts. Repeated flamers on any subject (including the site) will be banned.
-
We absolutely will not tolerate any racism, bigotry or hate speech here. It
will be deleted and further action will be taken if necessary.

useful "help file" for the system.
Please keep in mind that topics should be relevant to the
conference and messages should be specific to each topic. You can start a new
topic in a conference any time you want to change the subject by posting a new
message, or you can reply to a topic already started.
