Firstly let me say sorry. At no time did I mean to insult you. I now
how that can feel and that is not my intent.
If I recall I was responding to comments by Rich that "the insurance audit
is going to put me out of business. " and "should I give up". Clearly we both
agree that the problem isn't Rich's workers comp bill but the way he calculates
his costings.
For some reason you took offence to this fact in your first posting. In fact you stated
that your workmans comp was 24% of your wages bill. That means your labour is 4 times more
expensive. It is all relative. There are many who would find 24% cheap (AZ Hawii) to name 2.
I still contend if it is a lawful cost of doing business then we include it in our costings
smile and get on with it. Argue if you want that is the only real choice.
If you want to consider it expensive thats your choice, compared with a big claim I think it is
real cheap. Most young kids when they get a car winge about how expensive full insurance is
and many run the risk of not being covered. Many pay for that for the rest of their lives.
Unfortunately premiums are a reflection of the insurance claims in the sector you're in. It would be
nice if they weren't so high as I have already said but this is not reality.
Please once again my appologies if you took anything as meaning you were inept or incompetant. I jut meat
to say I found them indicative or somone who thought I lived "in an ivory tower".

PS is it true in Dellaware that a company does not pay tax? Can a tree firm be a company? if so don't even
think about workers comp again.
