Paul Hawksford from the UK has confirmed that there was a large storm to the noth of
England that has resulted in at least 3 people having been killed by trees.

The main trees that blew over were apparently beech and sycamores (presumably Acer sp)

How strong the wind was and the condition of the trees that failed.

We look forward to more information on these issues.
