Hi,

First may I say I enjoyed your book.

There are many in ground tree farms in OR. Matterial planted in like soil
poses very few problems, even more so because it will be wet too.

3 other options. Install a drainage system if it is available for potted matterial.
Plant your matterial shallow by teasing roots outwards and plant a little proud and
mound up to it. Encourage potted plants to be grown in soils closer to that in which
you wish to plant. This has its own set of problems but it does work.

Good luck

Mark
