Standard coring with a increment bore sample,on others even with a cross section and using a magnifying
glass it was a guess at best.A local Forester even cut it with a band saw then used lite sand paper.But this case we don't even have a cross section unless we lose our case. I wonder who determine the age of the 4,000 year old
Bristle Cone pines and what was there method.Thanks for help.
