As far as I can determine, the new boards are in place "as a test." You can post to the Tree Climbers' equivilent just by selecting a new message from the top menu in that forum. In any already posted message you mat be reading, you can post a follow-up which will put your message in that thread.

The PHC in the new Board is shown as moderated--which means someone controls access to that forum. The tree climber's new forum is shown as "not moderated" which presently means any can post just like before.

There is an extensive help page with a lot of information you should read.

So far, I'm not impressed by the new board or how it's been handled so far. No one seems to care and there's a recent message that someone finally notified the webmaster. Unless I'm mistaken, the PHC forum was frozen on the 20th--now three weeks ago--and I get a message today that they'll try to fix it.

This forum--all the forums on the ISA page--are fairly well-read and important to people, and therefore should have someone paying at least minimal attention. Perhaps it was the holidays or the storms that follow, but someone could at least let us know. Gon't get too grumpy with them, matbe they'll try harder. Someday.
