MR. FUGITIVE,
You never use a lanyard?
Well I must say, I've passed through FLA.(are you in FLA?)
The trees are small more fat than tall. Maybe dropping a saw from
30' won't hurt it. Now if it hits somebody you're in trouble.
Never to walk below? How can you operate a L.D. and not get below?
How do you tie the h20 on? Lots of times if you're 100' & pruning
if a limb or saw drops who knows where it will land? I bet not
at the trunk. Hard hats are not a choice here! Ear & eye protection
wear it or you're gone. It's simple.
Topping? Do you think most people look at this? Only people like
us notice topping.
Wild life needs a home, are clients have large tracts of property.
The forest is part of the garden, a white oak that has 50% die back
I don't belive topping it & injecting a herbicide won't effect the future.
I'm not that kind of person who's into "save the whales and
if you have time, those snails"
Think of entropy.
Just remember a saw free falling from 30' will hurt you just as bad from 100'.
